SONs OF CYRUS
Welcome to Sons of Cyrus, a community for motorcycle enthusiasts and owners who share a passion for freedom on the open road. Our club was founded in 2012 in Tehran, Iran, and expanded to Sweden and Norway in 2023, with members from all over the world. We are proud to have a nationwide presence and to bring together people from diverse backgrounds who share a love for motorcycles and adventure.
Sons of Cyrus is not driven by profit. We are a non-political, non-religious organization that believes in the strength of unity and respect for all. The club is managed by an elected board, following our guiding principles set out in our constitution.
We organize rides, gatherings, and events that bring our members together to celebrate our shared passion for motorcycling. But we’re more than just a club – we’re a movement. Our goal is to spread the message of Cyrus the Great to the world.
Cyrus the Great, the first king of ancient Persia, conquered Babylon in 539 BC. But it was his groundbreaking actions that truly left a mark on history. He liberated slaves, declared the right of every individual to choose their own religion, and established the principle of racial equality. These revolutionary laws were documented on a clay cylinder in Akkadian cuneiform, an artifact that survives to this day and is regarded as the world’s first declaration of human rights.
At Sons of Cyrus, we are inspired by the legacy of this great leader and aim to honor his values of freedom, equality, and respect. Join us on our journey as we ride together, grow together, and work to make the world a better place for all.
HOW IT ALL STARTED

The Sons of Cyrus Motorcycle Club was established in 2012 by two friends, Hamid Teimori and Majid Alimardani, in Tehran, Iran. This club is rooted in fraternity and patriotism, with the mission of promoting and celebrating the culture and civilization of the homeland. Our activities extend internationally, with a presence in Europe, including Sweden and Norway, and lately in USA, New York.
The club's emblem combines elements from the ancient history of Iran, particularly honoring Cyrus the Great, the author of the first Universal Charter of Human Rights. This iconic symbol is depicted in a striking black and white design.
Our organizational structure follows Common International Rules and Job Descriptions. A clean criminal record is a requirement for membership. We uphold a principle of mutual respect: treat others as you wish to be treated, a mantra embraced by every member. Additionally, we value open-mindedness towards differing opinions, ensuring a supportive environment. The club maintains independence from political and religious affiliations.
